Anthony came to Kilkenny Judo in 1982 . Over the years has added level 2 coaching certification, a 4th Dan black belt and medals at many national competitions including being All-Ireland champion 2011 to his list of achievements. He also referees at national competitions and trains & competes with the Irish Masters Squad. Anthony has completed Garda vetting.

Fergus Horgan is an active judo practitioner with a green belt. He serves as the Child Protection Officer within his judo club, where he is responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of all young members. Fergus has completed Garda vetting. Additionally, he has completed Safeguarding 2 training, equipping him with advanced knowledge on child safeguarding practices, including recognizing signs of abuse, responding appropriately, and creating a safe environment for all participants.
